NOTES Intended for sinners, but if you have a civilian and would like in, just make sure they have a damn good reason for leaving the panopticon

Kari leaned back in the worn seat she sat in, letting out an impatient exhale. They were late. She was supposed to be accompanying a group of sinners on what Natalia described as "cleanup duty". So essentially, she wanted them to go out and clear out any sinners from a rival panopticon that got too close for comfort, and salvage any resources while they were at it. Natalia, just like most of the authorities, was an impatient woman and if the rest of her team didn't show up soon, then she'd just deal with the op herself. She might be able to get out alive. Maybe.
Kari sighed again as she bounced her leg up and down impatiently, and leaned forward to stare at the ground before looking to her accessory. "How far away are they?"
Her accessory turned his head to look at her, his face blank. "Unspecified."
"Of course." She muttered, resting her weight on her knees and let her eyes flutter shut. This mission already made her tense enough as it was, the fact that her entire team was late, only made it worse.

Lucatiel had been called in for cleanup duty. He didn't want to go but truly he had no choice. He had people to impress, people to help and how Natalia acted towards him, he didn't want to get into anymore trouble than he already was. He went to his cell with his accessory, changing his choice of attire into a pair of black harem pants and a black tank top with his sandals. He slicked back his hair and tied it up, sighing as he looked to his accessory. "Should we go?" He questioned, staring at it. It didn't speak back, only a nod and he hissed, groaning as he moved out of his cell.

He took his time, walking slowly to pass the time and he knew he would be late. He automatically assumed that no one would arrive early so that was why he turned up late, thinking that he was simply paired with a bunch of carefree children sinners but instead, when he arrived, he found a young woman sitting there. Confused, he looked up to spot her Accessory before turning to his own with a questioning look. His Accessory said nothing so he turned back and wandered up to her.

"Sorry I am so late. Are you waiting for the other sinners for the cleanup dity or...?" He calmly stated, looking over her figure. She looked too young to be there, too young to be going to something so dangerous. He thought she had to be atleast a CODE 4, mostly but he knew he was probably wrong. He didn't say much about her CODE, out of fear she would be offended so instead, he thought about what to say next.

"O-Oh. I should introduce myself. The name is Lucatiel Kroner. I am a CODE 8 sinner. Who might you be?" He questioned.

Just as Kari was ready to take on the OP herself, someone entered the vehicle. Her eyes flicked towards the male that had decided to make his grand entrance, and narrowed dangerously at him.
"Are you really sorry though?" She asked, her voice flat and cold and she straightened her posture. He knew he was late, and she would bet her entire CODE clearance on the fact that he planned on being late in the first place.
"I'm done waiting." She stated flatly. "They were late so they can suffer Natalia's wrath. Besides, it's only cleanup duty. I'm not expecting Abductors." She turned to her accessory and told him to give the signal to move out and then turned back to the other sinner as he introduced himself as Lucatiel Kroner. She had heard the name tossed around before, though she knew nothing of the sinner in question. The way he looked her over told her that he thought he was babysitting. But he was far from right.
"Kari Senwood. CODE 8 sinner." She crossed her arms over her chest and leaned back into the seat. "Let me guess. You thought you were babysitting a CODE 2 sinner?"

Suddenly she sounded flat and cold, straightening herself up. He simply sat there in the vehicle, nervously glancing to her. “Not really.” He responded back shortly after, his voice sharp and as evenly cold as hers. He didn’t care that he was late, he assumed there would be more than just them and they would have just left and he could deal with Natalia but that didn’t happen…

He could only laugh at her as she turned to her accessory and gave him the signal to move out and turned back to him. “I like the way you think.” He said. He leaned back in his spot, relaxing himself as he looked ahead with a calm expression plastered on his face. Well, he was calm. It would be a smooth and easy ride there and back, nothing big and there wouldn’t be anything difficult to handle.

Other than the female, he couldn’t help but let his eyes widen as she said her name was Kari Senwood, a CODE 8 sinner. Crossing her arms over her chest, she leaned back.

“Babysit?” He repeated, staring at her. Well, he sort of expected it. She did look small enough and well, weak enough to look like a CODE 2 sinner. He smirked, a smug look across his face. “Damn. CODE 8 huh? Look at you all big a tough, cute too.” He chimed, staring at her. “You don’t look like a CODE 8 sinner but I shouldn’t doubt a woman of your size…” He glanced down to her chest for a split second before completely running his eyes over her body.

When Lucatiel admitted that he wasn't actually sorry that he was late, Kari snorted and leaned back into her seat as the vehicle began to move off. His apology already sounded hollow enough as it was without his admitting to its hollowness. Well, at least he was honest.
"Hmph. Not a lot of people like the way I think out on the field." She took up her weapon from the seat beside her, a Masamune mk6, and flipped the blade in her hand. "While we're on that note," She case a glance upwards towards Lucatiel. "Out on the field, I'm not your friend. I'm your superior, got it?" Of course, that wasn't official. However, after her first OP, Kari had taken it upon herself to assume the commanding position of any mission, unless there already was a commander in charge. Not everyone agreed with her self-appointed title, but then again, a few people had just accepted it with no complaints.
Kari raised a brow at his surprise of her CODE clearance.
"Cute, he says." She thought. "Let's see if he keeps his opinion after this OP, shall we?"
Then, she noticed his gaze on her chest for the briefest of moments.
"You had better watch where you're looking, Sinner." She said, her voice low. "If you're not careful, you could end up underfoot of a T-type. I won't be dragging your sorry ass out."

She had snorted in response to his honesty. Well, he couldn't help it truly. He was an honest man and if he didn't feel sorry he was going to tell it like it was. As the vehicle started and began to move, he leaned back and closed his eyes. "Everyone has a way of thinking on the field." He commented softly.

Then just like that, the girl was demanding herself as the superior. His eyes shot open and he stared at her and her weapon, hissing in response. "Bull shit small fry. Aint no way in hell you are the superior so shut it." He demanded with a rather rough tone. He didn't like the fact that a female was going to be the superior, he rather be it. He couldn't handle being controlled by a female or matter in fact, at all. He would challenge it most likely. "I don't even think of you as a friend." He added on as he leaned back once more to relax himself.

Even though he was smooth, he didn't care if he was caught staring at her. It was a natural thing for a man to look down and judge the size of a woman's bust and that was what he had done, judged it. He actually judged her entire body as he continued to look down at her entire appearance, taking in what she wore and her eyes, the facial structure and features and the way she positioned herself.

"I wouldn't expect you to drag me out of anything." He scoffed as he leaned back once more and laid his head back as he also crossed his arms across his chest. He felt uncomfortable and honestly wished to just go back and lay down, sleep even. Sighing, he poked an eye open and looked to her. "So exactly what are we doing? I didn't give much of my attention when told."

"I am the superior because I actually managed to get myself here on time, boy." Kari snapped back, before flipping the blade over in her hand and pointing it at him almost threateningly. "If you actually got your ass here earlier than five minutes late, then maybe I'd respect you a little more, but you didn't so tough luck, kid."
I wouldn't expect you to drag me out of anything
Kari huffed at that. "So be it, then." She said, crossing her arms over her chest. "The next time you find your sorry ass caught up in Retribution and you're slowly being crushed by a Paradoxia and crying for help, make sure I'm not the one you're crying to." In all honestly, she wanted to work with this guy, but he was making it impossible at this point. Despite the fact that Kari had an ego of her own, this guy's was impossible to deal with. He was the type of Sinner she occasionally left alone on the field to fend for themselves. But she knew she couldn't do that this time. Even though it was just a clean up OP, it would still be difficult enough with only two people, let alone just herself. She'd have to tolerate him for now.
When Lucatiel asked what the OP was, Kari only sighed. "Simple cleanup." She said, straightening her posture. "Some of Hourai's pawns have gotten too close for comfort to out territory, so we have to take them out." Kari looked up to the display screen above the door, watching the vehicle's route on the map displayed there. "There's a very low chance of an abductor being present, but that doesn't mean there's no possibility of one being there, so stay sharp and don't take a bullet to the skull."

“Whatever.” He replied back, watching her flip the blade and point it at him threateningly. In all honesty, he wasn’t threatened at all by her actions but instead, he got angered by them and he was half tempted to even grab the blade and yank it from her grasp. “I don’t want your half ass respect.” He snarled and turned away from her. “And if you were to threaten me with a god damn blade, at least go through with it.”

At this point, Lucatiel ignored the female’s next long line of words and had closed his eyes in annoyance. He even placed his fingers along his temples and pushed into it, as if trying to get rid of the headache that had formed. He didn’t care, he didn’t ask for help anyhow and he was pretty positive he could get himself out of trouble if he got into it. Releasing a small huff, he let his hands fall back down into his lap and he peeked a look at her. “Let’s get this over with at least. Then we can continue to hate each other.” He said.

He glanced down at his thorn as the female spoke and just like that, he knew he should have possibly brought his own weapon of choice but didn’t. Sighing, he nodded to her and chuckled. “Oh I wish you could read my thoughts at the moment.” He whispered as he let his head fall back once more. In all honesty, Lucatiel could care less if a bullet pierced through him and ended his life or wounded him, his life was not something she personally wished to live anymore at this point yet he continued to push through it, not even taking the time out of his day to actually kill himself, knowing damn well he could.

He glanced up to the display screen and watched the vehicle’s route on the map displayed there and looked to Kari. “I’ll linger behind you and keep watch.” He said as he readjusted himself. “Can’t risk having my superior hurt by anything, correct?” He questioned as he had finally accepted the fact she was his superior on this mission and had to show some respect, even if it was a tiny bit.
